Using the Limited Sales Function

Introduction to MarppleShop’s limited sales function

You can set up conditions for limited sales under “Limited Sales Settings” in the “Enter Goods Info.” page.
At MarppleShop, there are “Limited Period Sales” and “Limited Quantity Sales”.

Using each function, you can create a more colorful sales strategy.

Using the Limited Period Sales function

Through the Limited Period Sales function, you can sell your goods only within a specific period.
<(Left) Shows time left until the beginning of sale (Right) Shows time left until the end of sale>
(Left) Setting up future time for the beginning of sale : You can show time left until the beginning of sale.
(Right) Setting up future time for the end of sale : You can show time left until the end of sale.
You can make your sale more special by setting up a limited period.
However, if you wish only to set up a beginning time so that you can sell for unlimited time— unlike the limited sales function which requires you to set up both the beginning and ending time— you can uncheck the limited period condition as soon as the sale begins.

Using the Limited Quantity Sales function

Through the Limited Quantity Sales function, you can set up a total quantity of goods to be sold.
< It shows up as “[remaining quantity] out of [designated quantity] is(are) remaining! ”>
You can sell your goods up to the designated quantity,
and when the number of goods ordered reaches the designated quantity,
the “Buy” button turns into a “Sold Out” button.
As a note, if you set up a quantity too large for sale,
it may seem like you are having a flat sale.
It’s best to choose a number not too high based on the average sales volume of your previous goods.

Others

You can sell your goods in both limited period and quantity.
You can maximize the effect of “limited” sales as you will be selling a limited amount in a limited timeframe. However, you need to guide customers beforehand with sufficient instructions.
And while limited sales may be a strategy to make customers feel special,
it could be a strategy to test the quantity of goods sold with just a few goods when you cannot estimate customer demand.
It could also be a strategy to communicate with fans by conducting a live countdown on YouTube or Instagram.
