FAQ for Payment and Settlement

When and how can I request for profit withdrawal?

1.
Upload account information and withdrawal-related documents
Please upload your account information and withdrawal-related documents in Marppleshop Studio → Register Account Info.
Required documents differ based on whether you are an individual, business, or minor creator. Carefully check what you need to upload.
2.
Check monthly settlements
MarppleShop updates settlement details once the ordered goods are released. :)
You can request to withdraw the said month’s profit— which is updated in the settlement detail— from the first day of the following month.
ex) November 1st (Order Placed) / November 4th (Released) = The profit is recorded in the November settlement detail and can be withdrawn from December 1st.
ex) November 28th (Order Placed) / December 7th (Released) = The profit is recorded in the December settlement detail and can be withdrawn from January 1st.
3.
Request for Withdrawal
If you want to get your profit settled, you can request for withdrawal in the “Request for Withdrawal” menu. :)
※ Precautions
You can request for withdrawal from at least ₩10,000 (KRW).
If you wish to receive your profit in the said month, please request for withdrawal before the 10th.
If you are an entrepreneur, make sure to issue a tax invoice.

Shortfall of profit settlement due to omission in settlement details

Profit shown in the Settlement Details tab may differ from what’t shown in Order Details.
Because the Settlement Details record based on the date of release rather than the date of order placement,
order placed in January may be recorded in February when it is released then, making a difference from the Order Details.

What happens to a profit of ₩10,000 or below?

First of all, MarppleShop does not take any profit from creators.
If you have a profit of ₩10,000 or below or do not withdraw your profit, it carries over to the following month and accumulates.
When the accumulated profit exceeds ₩10,000, you can request for withdrawal. And even if you cannot continuously request for withdrawal, the profit you have will always carry over to the following month. :)

Change in the settlement amount due to exchanges/refunds

As MarppleShop uses the Print-on-Demand method, customers cannot request for an exchange or refund just because of a simple change in mind.
However, we do help customers with re-production, exchange, etc. if there are any problems with the goods.
If you must refund the goods for inevitable reasons,
the settlement for the refund will be determined based on the date of withdrawal request.
For example, refund before the withdrawal request applies before the withdrawal request while refund after the withdrawal request carries over to the following month.

I requested for withdrawal. When can I get the refund?

If there is no problem with the withdrawal request, you will get your refund within 7~14 business days based on the 10th of the said month.

What is PG commission?

PG is an abbreviation for Payment Gateway.
PG commission refers to the commission you pay to payment agencies for paying with your credit card, Naver Pay, or PAYCO on online shopping malls like MarppleShop.
There is a PG commission of 3.52% at MarppleShop, which calculates automatically in Settlement Details.

I’m not an entrepreneur. Is there anything that I need to report?

For individual MarppleShop creators, MarppleShop reports and pays tax that occurs when individual creators receive their profit.

I’m an entrepreneur. When should I issue the tax invoice?

If you are a business / individual entrepreneur MarppleShop creator, you must issue a tax invoice on the said month’s settlement before requesting for withdrawal in order to withdraw your profit.
(If you do not issue a tax invoice and request for withdrawal, you will not receive your profit.)
