Register account information
You can find “Account Information” in the menu on the left side of Marppleshop Studio
When you register your account information, you can check the contents below.

Select creator type
•
Age 14~19 : This applies to minor creators, age 14 or above.
MarppleShop creators at the age of 14 or above can operate their shops.
However, they need a consent from a legal representative to create profit.
•
Individual : This applies to most creators.
•
Business : This applies to general businesses that can issue an electronic tax invoice.
(For simplified businesses that cannot issue a tax invoice, please select the “Individual” type.)
•
Overseas resident : This applies only to overseas residents who do not have a domestic account.
Enter account information
How you enter account information is same for all creators types but overseas resident.
Because automatic account confirmation takes place to prevent the cancelling of withdrawal request due to incorrect entry,
you must make sure to enter your account information accurately.
•
Bank : Select the bank that your account belongs to.
•
Account Holder : You must write the account holder exactly as it shows in your account. If you are a simplified tax payer, there are cases in which the the holder shows as “Name of Representative”. In such cases, you do not need to write the name of representative and your name separately. Just enter what’s written down.
A. Enter account information, “individual”
Individual creators must conduct a mobile phone verification as personal information is necessary for withholding tax.
Once you complete mobile phone verification, your phone number and name will be filled in automatically. Then, you can enter your resident registration number.
If your resident registration number is mistyped, the withdrawal request will be nullified.
(If your withdrawal request receives rejection due to such a reason, please request for the following month’s withdrawal again after correcting your information.)
If your name and the account holder’s name are different, settlement may be limited.
Register other personal information identical to the account holder’s. When you agree to the utilization of personal information and terms of settlement, you are done registering account information.
B. Enter account information, “age 14~19”
When you are of age 14~19,
you can complete the account information registration by entering your personal information (name & resident registration number) and submitting a verification and consent form by a legal representative.
Phone number, date of birth, and name of the legal representative are automatically filled in once you have completed mobile phone verification next to the box for phone number.
After verification, download/print the consent form for legal representative, fill in the form by hand, and upload a scan or photograph of the copy.
If you can clearly see what’s written on the form, you can use your phone to take a picture of it.
(Request for withdrawal may be denied if we cannot check what’s written on the form and the image is blurry.)
※ Precautions ※
The legal representative who has been verified must sign the consent form.
Likewise, you are done registering account information once you agree to the utilization of personal information and terms of settlement.
C. Enter account information, “business”
You can only select “business” if you can issue an electronic tax invoice.
A simplified taxpayer who cannot issue an electronic tax invoice should register as an “individual”.
Account information registration is relatively easier for businesses.
•
Account Information : Accurately enter the business account information.
•
Company Information : Accurately enter information registered in the business license.
Uploading your business license is compulsory for a smooth settlement process.
If the account information differs from company information or contains incorrect information, settlement may be rejected.
D. Enter account information, “overseas resident”
You must fulfill the two conditions below to apply for an overseas resident.
1.
Have stayed overseas for 183 days or more per year
2.
Do not have income reported to National Tax Service in South Korea other than profit from MarppleShop
If you live overseas but do not meet the conditions above, please register as an individual or other types.
If you are having difficulty verifying, please contact us through the 1:1 chatting.
Once you have checked everything, click “Confirm” to enter your information.
Settlement for overseas resident proceeds via a PayPal account.
Also, upload a screenshot of account holder and account email on PayPal.
Please take a screenshot of the page that appears when you click a saw-toothed wheel button in the upper right corner after logging into PayPal.
For personal information, please fill in your real name, nationality, or country of residence.
FAQ for account information
1.
It shows that my account information is not identical.
For cases below, it may show that your account information is incorrect.
•
When you didn’t use the name registered for your account number
•
When the information you put is incorrect
•
When you didn’t click the check box.
2.
An error occurred while registering account information on phone.
MarppleShop application and PC browser are optimized for Chrome, so please register your information on the Chrome browser.
3.
I cannot type in the phone number box.
Some personal information such as phone number automatically fills in through verification.
4.
Do I need to report mail-order business when I register my business?
You can operate MarppleShop without mail-order business reports.
You do not need to specially report mail-order business for MarppleShop.
5.
I did not receive my profit even though I requested for withdrawal.
MarppleShop sends profit in the said month after gathering settlement details every 1st~10th of the month.
Usually, it takes about 7 business days, and you can check the estimated deposit date when you request for withdrawal.
If your account information is incorrect, the settlement cannot take place.
Please check the instructions that we provide when your settlement gets rejected and review/edit your account information.
